Spiritual Greetings
"But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations" St.Matthew 24: 13-14
Our Lord teaches us to let our lights shine before the face of all people. The apostles and the followers used every means available to them to spread the message of the Lord. No doubt, it was an extremely difficult time and they worked really hard to spread the message.
In todays world, we are fortunate that God has granted us access to a wide variety of information and communication systems that is not only vast, but also instantaneous. Today, there are certainly many ways to render the work of the church. In addition to the Holy Qurbana, we can use many resources that are available at our finger tips to uphold this light and spread the message of the Lord.
At St.George Orthodox Church, we are committed to spread the message of the Lord using all the resources at our disposal. In the last 10 years, we have come a long way and we have worked towards this goal. The Lord has showered and continues to shower his blessings on us abundantly. The strong faith in our Lord and the intercession of Parumala thirumeni has never failed us and its my strong belief that it will never fail us.
On behalf of the entire congregation, I thank the Heavenly father for the blessings in the form of wonderful church, the ever cooperative parishners and everyone who have helped and continues to help us to work for the betterment of our church. We are thankful to the Heavenly father for the ways in which he is using us to shape the future of our next generations by imparting the traditions and values of the Indian Orthodox Church.
